Overview
The PharmMD Residency Program provides training and experiences to develop skills in medication therapy management (MTM) services delivered to health plans, self-insured employers and other contracted entities. The intent of the program is to provide the resident with training and experiences that are representative of 3-5 years of practice experience and will position the graduated resident to be a leader in the health care industry in areas related to pharmacy and medication therapy management.
Experience
This position requires a PharmD degree and a willingness to learn and experience new opportunities. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office capabilities with a willingness to learn advanced skills are expected. The residency will be located in Brentwood, Tennessee at PharmMD’s corporate office. Primary working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday, however additional hours are expected. The resident will have multiple projects throughout the year, including a capstone project with the expectation of presenting the project at a national pharmacy association annual meeting.
